Adventure and Outdoor Activities - From camping trips and nature hikes to exciting field trips and community service projects, there's always something happening in Pack 548. Our Scouts experience the great outdoors while learning valuable skills and having fun.

Leadership and Personal Growth - Cub Scouting helps boys and girls grow into confident, responsible young leaders. Through various activities and achievements, Scouts develop teamwork, leadership, and self-reliance.

Family Involvement - Cub Scouting is a family program. Parents and siblings are encouraged to participate in many of our activities, making Scouting a family adventure.

Community and Friendship - Being part of Pack 548 means being part of a community. Our Scouts build strong friendships and learn the importance of helping others.

About Pack 548 – We have over 75 Scouts in our Pack, ranging from Kindergarten to 5th grade, from Kilpatrick Elementary, Rylander Elementary, and other schools in the surrounding Katy area. Our Pack meeting is held on the 3rd Monday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Rylander Elementary. In addition to the Pack meetings, Scouts also meet once a month as a Den, organized by grade.

Annual Dues and Fees

• Annual Dues: $195 for new Scouts. This includes the national fee, advancements, t-shirt, banquet, neckerchief and slide, Pinewood Derby kit, and rocket.

• Activity Fee: $65 in the Spring. This fee is typically offset by the Scout's participation in the Fall Popcorn Fundraiser.

Upcoming Events - We have many exciting events lined up for the coming months, including:

• Campouts: Experience the thrill of camping under the stars.

• Service Projects: Give back to our community through various service activities.

• Monthly Pack Meetings: Fun and engaging meetings with games, crafts, and awards.

• Special Events: Join us for events like Pinewood Derby, Rocket Day, and more!
